John L. Franklin is an Assistant Professor of Marketing. John has extensive experience in marketing strategy and analytics, most recently as a principal with brandvīb ltd, a boutique marketing consultancy. He has worked in marketing for companies including Northwest Airlines, K2 Sports, ConAgra Brands, and Cargill, and has consulted with clients including General Mills, 3M, and CHS. He has an infectious passion for marketing and strategy which he brings to his teaching.

He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Scandinavian Languages and International Relations and earned his MBA in Marketing from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Marketing Research from the University of Georgia Terry School of Business.
