Application Requirements
To be considered for admission, you must have graduated from an accredited high school or have earned a General Education Diploma (GED)
You will be asked to provide us with the following:
- Application for Admission
- Official High School or GED Transcripts
- Official Transcripts for Post-Secondary Institution
- Writing Sample (Optional)
How do I apply?

For scholarship consideration, please submit your application by June 1 for fall semester and January 15 for spring semester.

Request official transcripts from all post-high school educational institutions (colleges, technical schools, trade schools, etc.) previously attended, whether or not credits were earned. If applicable, submit an official AP or IB score report.
- Request your official high school transcript or official GED transcript.

Official electronic certified (PDF) transcripts will be accepted. Please request the issuing institution to electronically deliver the transcript directly to St. °µÍø½ûÇø at admissions@stkate.edu. - Applicants will be notified of an admission decision within three weeks after required materials have been received. Accepted students must make a $200 tuition deposit.
- If you previously attended St. °µÍø½ûÇø – St. Paul and have not yet earned a BA/BS degree, start and complete the . There is no fee to apply.
- If you have attended any institutions following your enrollment at St. °µÍø½ûÇø, official transcripts are required.
- St. °µÍø½ûÇø may still hold your official documents from your previous enrollment; therefore, requirements will be reviewed and determined at the time of application. For more information, contact Day Admission at 651-690-8850.

This evaluation must be done by a credential evaluation agency approved by St. °µÍø½ûÇø, such as or .
- Specific requirements will depend on where you attended school outside of the United States. Some students may be required to complete an official state GED for the high school requirement. St. °µÍø½ûÇø reserves the right to determine requirements needed for an admission decision.
- It may take longer to obtain your international documents, so we recommend that you begin your application process 6-9 months before beginning your studies at St. Kate’s.
Applicants for whom English is a second language may be required to take the English Assessment Test at St. °µÍø½ûÇø. TOEFL or IELTS scores may be submitted if either test has already been taken.
Any document in a language other than English must be accompanied by an English translation from a certified translator. Applicants are not allowed to translate their own documents.
International applicants (non-U.S. citizens or Permanent Residents) should visit the International Admission page for application information.
