Scholarships for International Students

A majority of our international students receive a scholarship to attend St. °µÍø½ûÇø. A completed admission application is required for scholarship consideration.

*Full scholarships are not available. With campus jobs, students can earn approximately $2,700 per year by working an average of 10 hours a week.


°µÍø½ûÇø T. McNamee International Student Scholarship

Amount

$30,000/ year applied to tuition for four years or until you graduate, whichever comes first.

Eligibility

Awarded to bachelor degree seeking students, enrolled full time (12-18 credits) in the College for Women. This scholarship is based on academic achievement,  demonstrated leadership, and commitment to social justice. It was established in 2012 to honor St. °µÍø½ûÇø's 8th president, who led the University to greater international visibility.


Katie Housing Scholarship

Amount

All international students qualify for $6,000 a year for on-campus housing.

Eligibility

Awarded to bachelor degree seeking students in the College for Women living on-campus.


#YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship

The #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship is a globally recognized scholarship program for international students and aims to develop future world leaders who will advance intercultural understanding.

Amount

St. °µÍø½ûÇø will award two annual, renewable scholarships of $5,000 per student per year for four years or until you graduate, whichever comes first.

Eligibility

Awarded to first-time, first-year, female, bachelor's-degree-seeking international applicants, enrolled full-time in the College for Women, and planning to live on campus. Applicant must attend (or have graduated from) a secondary school outside of the United States.

This scholarship is based on demonstrated interest and initiative in leadership and intercultural learning. Complete a 500–1000 word essay or a two–five-minute video  answering the following prompt: “Tell us about your leadership skills in your school or community, and how you plan to continue applying your leadership skills at St. °µÍø½ûÇø.â€

  • If awarded the scholarship, submit the confirming deposit by May 1

TripliKate Scholarship

Amount

$3,000/year for four years or until you graduate, whichever comes first.

Eligibility

Students whose parent AND grandparent graduated from St. °µÍø½ûÇø.


DupliKate Scholarship

Amount

$2,000/year for four years or until you graduate, whichever comes first.

Eligibility

Students whose parent OR grandparent graduated from St. °µÍø½ûÇø.


Alumni Referral Scholarship

One-time Amount

$600

Eligibility

Students who receive an Alumni Referral Card from an alum of the University. The referral card must be submitted with your admission application.


DducationUSA logo

EducationUSA Scholarship

Amount

$1,500/year for four years or until you graduate, whichever comes first.

Eligibility

Awarded to female, bachelor degree seeking students, enrolled full time in the College for Women. A letter of recommendation from the EducationUSA advisor in their home country is required.

ELS Scholarship

Amount

$1,500/year for four years or until you graduate, whichever comes first.

Eligibility

Awarded to female, bachelor degree seeking students, enrolled full time in the College for Women who have completed Level 110 or higher (with a B average GPA) at any ELS Educational Services Center.
