To be eligible for financial aid, students must apply and be accepted as degree-seeking students at St. Kate's. Financial aid eligibility is based on the student's combined enrollment for all full-term and partial-term courses that count towards the completion of the degree program. There is very limited financial aid available for summer, but students may utilize loans.
St. Kate's students who wish to receive financial aid for summer should submit the St. Kate's Financial Aid Application: Summer 2025 (not applicable to students in the OTA Online, Doctor of Physical Therapy or Master of Physician Assistant Studies programs). Students must also complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA.
The Financial Aid Office calculates a financial aid offer for each student based on their unique financial and academic circumstances and the average expenses and enrollment for each type of academic program. Program costs determine a student's financial aid budget, or "Cost of Attendance," which in turn serves as the framework for a financial aid offer to help cover that cost. Please review the Cost of Attendance information for your specific program for more information.
For maximum aid eligibility you must register for classes by:
- May 12, 2025 for Summer II 2025 (OTA Online)
- June 03, 2025 for Summer 2025
FAFSA requirement for Minnesota State Grant: Students must submit a 2024-2025 FAFSA to be eligible for Minnesota State Grant funding for the Summer 2025 term.
For more information, contact the Financial Aid Office at 651-690-6540 or send email to finaid@stkate.edu.

Child Care Grant — Summer 2025 Application
The Child Care Grant program provides financial assistance to students who have children 12 and under, are not receiving assistance under the Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP), and who demonstrate financial need for grants, to help pay for child care while pursuing a postsecondary education.
If a student did not receive Child Care Grant funds for the 24-25 academic year, they and the child care provider must fill out both the 2024-2025 Post-Secondary Childcare Grant Application and the Summer Childcare Grant Application. Please contact the Financial Aid office at 651-690-6540 with questions.
