The senior diver earned All-America Honorable Mention honors on both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards with two top-16 finishes at the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championship.


Before the weekend, St. °µÍø½ûÇø diver Jenna Nagy (Hutchinson, Minn. / Hutchinson) already cemented herself as one of the best divers in program history. But after her trip to the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championship in Shenandoah, Texas last weekend, Nagy solidified her place amongst the greats. The senior diver earned All-America Honorable Mention honors on both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards with two top-16 finishes, and for her performances has been named Wildcat Athlete of the Week.

Nagy concluded her outstanding career at St. Kate’s in the best way possible with her two All-America Honorable Mention performances. On Wednesday, she finished 14th in the 3-meter competition after qualifying for the consolation finals with a score of 394.85 in the prelims. In the consolation final, Nagy bettered her score to move up to 14th, finishing the day with an overall score of 408.30. In Friday's 1-meter competition, Nagy once again qualified for the consolation finals after finishing the prelims in 15th place. She ended the competition in 16th, closing the day with an 11-dive score of 341.55.

The senior diver was named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Diver-of-the-Year after winning both boards at the MIAC Swimming and Diving Championship. Nagy also won the 3-meter competition at the NCAA Regional Zones to earn a place at the NCAA Championship and broke multiple school records during the season. She will graduate from St. Kate’s as the school record holder in the 1-meter, 6 dive; 1-meter, 11 dive; and 3-meter, 6 dive categories.
