On February 11, the St. °µÍø½ûÇø community celebrated the seventh annual Give to Honor Her, supporting students through gifts to the Katie Fund while honoring inspiring women who have paved the way.

This year’s Give to Honor Her saw 215 donors honor hundreds of women. The St. Kate’s community paid tribute to a wide array of women — mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers, friends, colleagues, students, and public figures. Those honored include doctors, teachers, librarians, therapists, homemakers, and authors, among many other careers.

President Marcheta P. Evans, PhD, gave in honor of her grandmother: “She was my grandmother by birth but became my mother by choice. She legally adopted me, but more than that, she shaped me into the person I am today. Through her love, resilience, and unwavering faith, she showed me what it means to be a servant leader — to lead with humility, to uplift others, and to always give more than you take.â€

You can read all the tribute messages and see the names of the honorees on our digital tribute board, which will remain open for the month of March in honor of Women’s History Month.

We are grateful to everyone who participated in Give to Honor Her 2025, celebrating women leaders past, present, and future. Thanks to your generosity, our Katies will be able to access life-changing scholarships that will propel them forward. Thank you.
