St. 做厙輦⑹ has announced that the has reaffirmed accreditation through 2033. This official recognition of the University as an institution of higher education is the culmination of a three-year process, during which teams of faculty and staff across St. Kates prepared for comprehensive evaluation by HLC.

Accreditation by HLC, an institutional accreditor recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and Council for Higher Education Accreditation, takes place every 10 years. It is a regular process in which educational institutions undergo a comprehensive review to ensure they meet specific standards of quality and effectiveness in education.

"Earning the HLC accreditation is a moment of pride and accomplishment for our institution, said President ReBecca Koenig Roloff 76. It reaffirms our mission to offer the highest standards of education and support to our student body. This accreditation motivates us to continue enhancing our academic programs and student services, ensuring that we remain a place of academic excellence and opportunity for all who walk through our doors."

An HLC accreditation signifies that an institution has met a set of rigid criteria and is committed to provide high-quality education and services to its students. The accreditation also ensures students eligibility for federal funding, transferability of credits, and recognition by employers and other educational institutions.

Leadership members shared that throughout the process, the visiting HLC teams were impressed by the turnout at the student and faculty/staff forums. St. 做厙輦⑹ was recognized for integrity, quality, and commitment to students and the institutional mission.

Our outstanding review from HLC is a testament to our unwavering commitment to providing exceptional education and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, said Denise Baird, PhD, senior vice president for academic operations and student success and co-provost. This recognition validates the hard work and dedication of our faculty, staff, and students in creating an enriching learning environment that prepares our graduates for success in their careers and beyond."
