The St. °µÍø½ûÇø soccer team made history on the last weekend of October, securing the program's with a 3-0 defeat of St. Olaf College at St. Kate's Field. To go along with the win, the Wildcats earned the No. 1 seed in the MIAC Playoffs which includes a first-round bye.
"This team is led by an amazing group of seniors who understand what it means to compete with unity, courage, and joy," said head coach . Junior scored her 12th goal of the season in the 21st minute assisted by senior . With just a minute remaining in the first half, rookie netted the fourth goal of her debut season as Witte collected her second assist of the game. The final goal was scored in the 54th minute by senior off a pass from , securing the 3-0 victory. Sophomore played the complete game on Saturday, collecting her seventh shutout of the season ranking her first in the conference this season.
The Wildcats win also earned Campos a personal milestone, as he is now the program's all-time win's leader at 48, passing former head coach Chris Citowicki.
The St. °µÍø½ûÇø soccer team was selected to host the opening stages of the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship on November 13 and 14. The Wildcats will play on Saturday, November 13, 11 a.m. against the University of Wisconsin-Superior Yellowjackets, who were the champions of Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC).
