A degree in international studies from St. °µÍø½ûÇø is not only about gaining knowledge, but also developing a rich skill set, a global perspective, and a strong sense of purpose. It's a pathway to a meaningful and impactful career that transcends borders and contributes to positive change on a global scale.

International studies courses are drawn from the disciplines of economics, history, and political science. In addition to common course work in these disciplines, each student can select a particular theme, including Social Justice and the State; Women, Gender, and Human Rights; or Global Flow, to inform their course work. Courses are designed to help students master the complexities of the contemporary, global world

The world is becoming more and more connected, and those with the ability to move, speak, and work confidently in a complex international relations environment are well-positioned for the future.

A study abroad experience is an essential part of the international studies program. Studying abroad provides students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in a different culture and to gain first-hand experience of the global world.

Internships are another great way for students in the international studies major to gain experience in the global workforce. Students can intern with organizations such as the United Nations, the World Bank, or non-governmental organizations. Internships provide students with the opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge in a real-world setting.
